II: ARE THESE EUROPEAN DIRECTIVES "SUITABLE FOR PRACTICAL APPLICATION" IN INFORMATION SOCIETY? 1- Database protection in relation with freedom of information. 2- Compatibility of the E-Commerce Directive with the Enforcement Directive in relation with rights to be informed against by Internet providers. 3- The situation of the access providers. 4- New "technology-driven" services, which use restrictive regulations under copyright law as a "basis of transactions". III: SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
